You may only be young once but you remember forever, don't you?
In 2005 my lifelong love affair with the music of the 50s and 60s inspired me to write down my ideas for creating a place where the songs known as "oldies" would not only be preserved, but continuously be in the spotlight. My passion-fueled efforts resulted in a business plan complete with marketing strategies and financial assessments and projections. I began searching for the right team and appropriate funding to launch "The Dream."
However life sometimes has a way of throwing curves when you're looking for a nice fast ball down the middle. My wife Nancy, the greater love of my life, has recently been diagnosed with End-Stage Heart Failure. A heart transplant would have been Nancy's only chance for long-term survival but Mayo Clinic has determined that a transplant would not be the best option for her.
I'm sorry to say that the opening of BabyB's will need to wait. I need to be there for my wife. I hope you understand.
In the meantime Nancy, who has always been my continuous source of encouragement, is suggesting that I put on BabyB's "One Nighters", that is, doing the BabyB's program on a monthly basis—complete with emcee/deejay personalities, special themes and events, classic car shows, and of course, the best boomer music ever, both recorded and live—at select hotels, resorts, and restaurants. (What do you think?)
At any rate, the opening of a BabyB's location will have to be postponed until further notice. Thank you for your interest, support, and understanding.
BabyB's will showcase a complete selection of Boomer Music—circa 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s—for your listening, singing, and dancing pleasure. A fresh experience of your good 'ole days!
